A pathway designed around your child
Subjects, starting level, curriculum breadth, pace, timetable, language support and future goals are planned together, rather than inherited from a fixed class programme.
Premium British education for a changing world
Bridgecombe builds and manages a complete personal academic pathway around your child, continually adapting the teaching, pace, challenge, language support and next steps as they develop.
Purpose-built multilingual AI subject coaches provide individual teaching whenever it is needed. Experienced educators provide the judgement, relationship and academic direction required to deliver the British curriculum to the highest possible standard for each learner.
Personalisation is not an additional feature at Bridgecombe. It is how the British curriculum is taught, managed and continually improved for each learner.
Exceptional-quality British curriculum delivery continually adjusted around your child’s understanding, strengths, language needs and ambitions.
Daily individual guidance from an experienced educator who knows your child and directs the wider academic plan.
Teaching whenever it is needed through purpose-built AI subject coaches that explain, practise, revise and extend.
Multilingual-supported British learning that makes demanding ideas accessible through the learner’s mother tongue or strongest language while steadily developing English-medium independence.
Continuous parent insight through learning pulses, planned diagnostic assessments and detailed progress reports.
A carefully managed route through GCSE, International GCSE, A Level, private-candidate entry and university preparation.
A flexible study rhythm built around family life, travel, sport, creative development or other serious commitments.
An exceptionally small learning community in which every child is known, heard and actively involved.
AI literacy for the future, including learning to direct, question, verify, improve and create with intelligent technology.
A new model of personalised British education
Even excellent international schools must organise teaching around groups, shared timetables and a common pace. This inevitably limits how far teaching can adapt to one child’s understanding, language needs, strengths and ambitions.
Bridgecombe begins with the individual learner.
We continually adjust the curriculum level, explanation, practice, challenge, timetable and support around your child. This gives them the strongest possible opportunity to understand deeply, progress confidently and fulfil their academic potential.
We do not ask your child to fit the system. We use a dynamic personal pathway to deliver exceptional British education around them.
British academic ambition, made fully accessible
Language can hide a child’s real academic ability. A learner may understand an idea deeply but struggle to access the vocabulary, cultural references or instructions through English alone.
Bridgecombe’s multilingual subject coaches introduce British curriculum content in English while explaining difficult concepts, questions and vocabulary through the learner’s mother tongue or strongest language whenever needed.
One connected educational model
As understanding, confidence and ambition grow, the curriculum, pace and level of challenge grow with them.
Subjects, starting level, curriculum breadth, pace, timetable, language support and future goals are planned together, rather than inherited from a fixed class programme.
On each planned learning day, your child receives focused individual guidance from a Bridgecombe educator who reviews progress, resolves difficulties and connects today’s learning to the wider plan.
Progress you can understand and act upon
Parents should not have to wait for a parent evening or an end-of-term report to discover that their child has been confused, falling behind or insufficiently challenged.
Bridgecombe creates a continuous evidence loop:
Learning activity → immediate feedback → parent pulse → planned diagnostic → detailed report → adjusted next step
We do not simply report what happened. We use evidence to decide what happens next.
Founder-led from the beginning
Martin and Jhuriza Lungley have spent more than 40 years combined teaching and leading learning in British and international education.
Today, Martin and Jhuriza personally design the learning coaches, meet families, guide learners and oversee each academic pathway. Their educational record includes senior-school experience and former Art and Design students earning six Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards, including two Highest Mark in the World awards at GCSE level.
We created Bridgecombe for our own children first. We now offer other families the same standard of care, ambition and personal attention.

Take the first step
Every Bridgecombe pathway begins with a conversation.
We will listen carefully to your child’s current situation, academic level, English development, strengths, interests and future ambitions. We will then explain how a personal British academic pathway could be built around them and how it could help them achieve their full potential.
